Video of our latest wild life visitors to our park
Taken at the end of August 2025 this a a compilation video showing a mix of animals ranging from foxes, rats, badgers and deer.
No wonder badgers are thriving in our wildlife park.
Like foxes, badgers have a really broad diet. Up to 80 per cent of it is earthworms; they can eat several hundred each night! They also use their hugely powerful front claws to dig for insects and other grubs, as well as bulbs.
Other veggie favourites include apples, pears, plums and elderberries, as well as seeds and acorns. But being omnivorous, badgers are also partial to small mammals like mice, rats and rabbits, plus amphibians like frogs and toads.

We are so fortunate to live alongside a wealth of wildlife that many of us hardly notice. Every day and night, our welfare park come alive with quiet activity. From foxes slipping through the shadows, to badgers foraging, deer moving gracefully, and even the humble rat making its way — all these creatures share our home.
They remind us that nature isn’t something far away, but right here on our doorstep. The park is not only a place for us to walk, play, and enjoy, but also a safe haven for countless animals who live their lives quietly beside ours.
