On the face of it the menu above works fine.
Briefly it uses rectangles and text marked as ‘HTMLText’ to retain the buttons as shapes and text NOT as a graphic.
On the whole it works well but just occasionally the button does align wrongly.
It’s hard to reproduce but I’ll try to do so in this video.
I believe what’s happening is very occasionally the mouse over will trigger the text to fire the mouse-over, not the
underlying rectangle and therefore misaligns the button.
On the buttons bellow I’ve removed all links and added a white rectangle above the buttons on the mouse-off layer
with a 99% transparency and a link. I can’t get these buttons to misbehave
